Geoff Yussouf, Co-founder, CEOZenGo helps organisations achieve this quickly and efficiently.
Born out of a former corporate lawyer’s experience of burnout and determination to address poor mental health in the workplace, ZenGo is paving the path to healthy, high performance working environments.
ZenGo offers personalised and quantifiable employee well-being metrics, tools, and exercises to assess and improve well-being and performance. These findings are also communicated, on an anonymized basis, to companies to get a continuous read-out on employee sentiment and well-being, allow smarter decision-making processes, and build a culture where employees are engaged and psychologically safe.
“We believe in prevention over cure. By the time an issue reaches HR, it’s already at a stage where it is difficult to resolve. We enable employees to gain more insight into their own and others’ states of mind and measure their mental health in the initial stages, reducing negative impact within the company,” says Geoff Yussouf, Co-Founder of ZenGo.
ZenGo takes a sector-agnostic approach, but its sweet spot is high performance environments which naturally tend to produce more in the way of work triggered mental health issues.
Employees can explore their mental state through a series of light touch, intuitive, and non-intrusive psychological tools on ZenGo’s portal. They receive individual metrics and insights on five key areas of mental health; resilience, motivation, connection, energy, and enjoyment. They can track their scores over time to see how their states of mind change and identify patterns.
Based on each employee’s scores, ZenGo’s machine learning AI offers personalised recommendations. These recommendations include experiential interventions (relaxation, meditation, mindfulness), cognitive exercises, and self-learning in various formats, from engaging written pieces, symptom management, to practical assistance in day-to-day activities.
The AI tracks scores against the tools each employee has selected and works out what works best for each individual; the more they engage, the more finely tuned the system becomes to their needs.
The process is designed so employees can take the assessments and access exercises anytime, in or outside office hours.
Employers receive aggregated, anonymized statistics which helps customers monitor employee sentiment and well-being as a whole and allows immediate, transparent read-outs of the effects of new policies and market developments. They can also compare and analyse their results with others in the industry or break them down into diversity and inclusion, and socio-economic subcategories to support EDI compliance.
Employees are more aware of their well-being and the influence of work on their lives. They are demanding a drastically new way of working. ZenGo can help navigate this shift
Attracting and retaining the best talent is a significant challenge for most companies. ZenGo’s services help organisations to lay the foundation for an engaging and humancentric work culture that retains employees and creates an employer brand that attracts talent.
The old idea of employee retention through incentives and monetary benefits is no longer relevant, especially since the pandemic. Employees are more aware of their well-being and the influence of work on their lives. They are demanding a drastically new way of working. ZenGo can help navigate this shift.
