Aileen Allkins, CEOThe Fourth Industrial Revolution is reshaping our economic and social lives. This new digital era has initiated a fundamental change in the way we live, work, and do business. The technology companies at the forefront of this transformation are adapting rapidly and launching new products and services every day.
As the world tries to align with the new reality, we are left with a digital skills shortage. There are not enough people with the required skills to fill positions, and it is now very much an employee’s market. If employees do not feel valued by their employer or see the potential for growth, they will more readily seek alternative employment, as evidenced by the so-called “Great Resignation”.
To this end, Wize Solutions offers its talent growth solution, Talentwize. This software provides leaders with a framework to know the skills of their workforce and identify opportunities for growth that help them retain top talent through personalized learning journeys and career paths.
Founded by an entrepreneurial team with long-standing experience of running global, large-scale technical support and customer-facing operations teams, Wize Solutions understands that the widening skills gap cannot be addressed by new hires alone. As a result, the company is making it easier for organizations to know where to focus their training and development programs to develop an internal talent pipeline to meet current and future job requirements. Operating as a talent growth solution provider, the company shines a light on precisely which skills employers already have across their teams through Talentwize. On top of that, its personalized learning and career paths are available to employees, empowering them to take control of their career growth within organizations.
Talentwize’s smart workforce strategies enable organizations to address the challenges and opportunities of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. With a view of the skills within an organization and by individual, Talentwize surfaces the link between skills initiatives and business performance with dynamic visualizations and reporting of consolidated and individual skills assessment data and required skills.
Further, Talentwize enables companies to encourage learning activities relative to the current and future ambitions of their organization. Leaders can take informed decisions on the overall approach to upskilling and reskilling and provide their people with new career opportunities, such as promotions or stretch assignments.

Talentwize gives companies a strategic way to know, grow, and retain their talent, helping them succeed by reducing attrition and aligning their skills requirements to business performance
As part of an employability program with the Costa Rican government, Wize Solutions’ sister company, elev8, implemented Talentwize to track learners’ current skills, define learning journeys, and track job placements. Through this, elev8 was able to dynamically understand the progress of more than 500 learners and provide learning journeys. The competency management provided by Talentwize allowed trainers, talent acquisition agents, and stakeholders to understand the progress of all learners during the program. Additionally, individuals were provided a structured method to consume assessments and content through personalized learning journeys. It also enabled elev8 to track student job placements and allow students to understand their capabilities against market requirements to reach their career progression goals.
“To thrive in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, companies need smart workforce strategies to grow the skills and talent they need from within for current and future roles,” Aileen advises. “Talentwize gives companies a strategic way to know, grow, and retain their talent, helping them succeed by reducing attrition and aligning their skills requirements to business performance.”
