A fruitful learning experience is characterized by the type of engagement a training program generates among its participants. Factors such as enjoyability, knowledge retention, and an aptitude to learn, result in a smooth learning experience and consequently catalyze enterprise growth and success. To enhance these learning coefficients, Swiss Connect Academy prepares its clients to pass federal exams for the Swiss Association for Leadership Training (SALT). Training is based on learning objectives initially developed for the Swiss Army and major, civilian, professional training schools.

Leaders at Swiss Connect Academy, René Muller, President of the Board of Directors and Sébastien Junod, Chief Strategy & Development Officer, serve on the SALT Executive Board and the Quality Assurance Commission, ensuring that Swiss Connect Academy adheres to the established learning objectives.

“Whenever we begin creating new content, we determine the learning objectives, either based on our client’s need or on the objectives determined by the certifying entity,” explains Junod. Swiss Connect Academy’s approach to creating learning content ties into its 5-pronged ADDIE model, which focuses on analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation.

From developing reading material, tests and e-learning material to creating videos, podcasts, and case studies, Swiss Connect Academy has designed an online learning platform to encourage social, mobile and microlearning. These diversified learning avenues are tailored to consistently improve the quality and efficacy of the educational experience they offer.

Swiss Connect Academy’s blended learning approach encourages participants to conduct their own training as a part of its in-house Connect LXP offering. “We seamlessly incorporate learning tools in our blended learning format that result in deepening our students’ engagement with our learning content and encouraging them to take ownership of their learning successes,” explains Junod. Connect LXP employs Chat and Coaching modules to promote social learning while facilitating greater client engagement. Along with these educational modules, Swiss Connect Academy’s interactive ebooks serve as the primary source of reading and practical exercise material, enabling participants to reflect upon their training programs and cultivate the habit of journaling and documentation. Swiss Connect Academy essentially guides participants on a personal learning journey, with all resources functioning as a reservoir of knowledge.

Swiss Connect Academy also empowers participants to continually assess their learning progression. They can develop mastery over these modules, each including 90 to 120 questions. Swiss Connect Academy provides equal opportunities to practice during e-tests and evaluations, allowing students to consistently improve by reviewing curriculum based on feedback. The AI algorithms powering the online learning platform challenge learners to reassess themselves, promoting self-knowledge and self-efficacy. Swiss Connect Academy also employs Bloom’s Taxonomy framework to comprehend the competence and participant-mastery of learning programs. Comprehensive and purpose-driven solutions, coupled with result-oriented measures of progress, create an innovative, engaging and joyful learning experience.
