Mental Illness First Aid Certification
The National Council for Behavioral Health offers a very useful curriculum called Mental HealthFirst Aid. It works in a similar way as CPR. There should be a certified member of the HR team present. Emotional Wellness Programs
In addition to the usual suspects like step contests and weight-loss programs, employees welcome opportunities to improve their mental wellness. Employees can relax, rest, or think in peaceful campus spaces during the day. By providing walking routes or outside seating places, employees can step outside and enjoy the sunshine. Plants in the office can have a relaxing effect while also adding a burst of color.
