Pegasystems, a low-code platform provider that helps the world's top businesses become more agile, received the highest score on the Disability Equality Index (DEI), one of the most thorough metrics available for evaluating disability inclusion. Pega achieved the maximum score of 100 and the title of "Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion" by receiving the highest ratings across all of DEI's evaluation areas, including culture & leadership, enterprise-wide access, employment practices, and community participation.
Key initiatives include:
Establishing its employee resource group with disabilities
Focus on recruiting, retention, career advancement, and social impact, including forming a connection with national and international nonprofits that assist people with disabilities.
Building an accessibility team
Help to collaborate with the design, product, and engineering teams on software testing, coaching, and feedback.
Introducing the Advanced Allyship Program
To train staff in allyship, identify hidden biases, foster empathy, and comprehend the difficulties faced by marginalized populations. Additionally, Pega offered its staff several workshops on inclusive leadership and the workplace.
