Over the past year, executive search firms have been gaining traction in terms of appointing top men and women for leadership positions
FREMONT, CA: Russell Reynolds Associates has named Constantine Alexandrakis, the firm's current head of the Americas region, as its new CEO, succeeding Clarke Murphy, who will continue with the firm and return to full-time client work. Constantine is a proven leader with a compelling vision, Mr. Murphy added. He believes that with his global orientation, collaborative leadership, inclusive thinking, and business passion, Constantine will lead this organization to incredible success. Murphy added that he was honored to be a part of the firm's history, and he looks forward to working with Constantine as he prepares the company for the future.

Between 2015 and 2018, Mr. Alexandrakis sat on the firm's executive committee, and in 2018, he was named head of the Americas, which includes the United States, Canada, and Latin America, and is responsible for the firm's growth and expansion in the region. Prior to this, he led the firm's U.S. as well as the firm's global leadership and succession practice. He has been with RRA for over 15 years and has helped corporate boards and CEOs in a variety of industries as a leadership advisory consultant in the firm's CEO and board practice.
Mr. Alexandrakis worked as the vice president of operations for Hostway Corp, a cloud services company, before joining Russell Reynolds Associates in 2004. He was also a strategy consultant for Towers Perrin and worked as a financial analyst for United Airlines earlier in his career. He graduated from Princeton University with a bachelor's degree in economics and an MBA from the University Of Chicago Booth School Of Business. He is also a member of the Florida Bar and has a law degree from the University Of Miami School Of Law. He is located in Chicago and has served on a number of boards in the Chicago area. Alexandrakis expressed how thrilled he was to lead the business into the next phase of its growth and development, and he has been committed to ensuring that the company continues to be recognized and respected as the best leadership advisory firm by the customers throughout the world.
