A Tailored Employee Training and Leadership Coaching Game-Plan
Conventional employee training and leadership coaching have become inefficient in today’s business scenario. Much like how every company’s business goals, solutions, and values differ, every workforce needs unique employee management approaches that suit their needs and expectations.
HR Media and Co. is an international human resources consulting company that provides a broad range of human resources services. Some of our services include recruitment, customized onboarding and orientation, HR Management, and training and development. We create strategies with our clients and offer people-oriented solutions to their HR needs.
We make a difference in the learning and development space by offering clients the right resources and customized training they need for their employees’ learning and professional growth. Our customized trainings are designed to fit company of any size. In addition, we offer virtual onboarding and orientation along with a 30, 60, 90-day milestone approach to support leaders and employees as they navigate the new hire process together. Our overall focus is to ensure our clients provide all employees with a healthy and positive workplace culture that will lead to an overall increase in retention.
When I say customized, it aligns with every client requirement, be it helping them enhance their already excellent service or transforming an employee into an expert. For instance, if a company excels in customer service but wants to incorporate the latest trends in customer experience, we help them train the relevant employees.
We also provide customized leadership coaching. Leaders need a different level of support to develop their skills. We become our client’s support system in building good leaders. Be it nurturing a new leader or manager, helping them cope with the new role, or helping existing leaders improve their employee engagement skills, we always provide the remedy.
Addressing the Post- Pandemic Business Scenario
The world has seen many shifts since the beginning of the pandemic centered around the need for more of a diverse workforce that represents our country and the world, an explosion of workers demanding a higher salary along with a hybrid or fully remote work schedule, candidates requiring flexibility to pick up their children or assist an elderly parent to name a few. Unfortunately, as a result, there are many challenges that many companies are facing in the Learning and Development space.
HR Media and Co. is effectively addressing these issues with leading companies by with providing clients with the solutions needed to address these issues. HR Media & Co. champions resolving post-pandemic HR challenges.
Some of the challenges many companies are facing are employee retention, finding qualified candidates to hire, and keeping current employees engaged. They also find it challenging to provide employees with the right customized trainings, and creating and implementing a user friendly Learning Management System (LMS) that is easy for employees to navigate and enhances their skill set. Retaining employees by meeting their changing needs and expectations after the great resignation and quiet quitting is another issue.
Our customized corporate trainings help develop a team culture centered on growth and inclusion. We provide new training opportunities and enable employees to upgrade their skills and earn promotions. As a result, clients have seen an increase in employee engagement, hired and retained qualified candidates, enhanced the employee experience, and overall it has had a positive effect on the company brand.
Employers can also involve employees in important decisions to make them feel included and valued. We advise companies to adopt team building exercises that will help boost team morale. For example, hosting monthly virtual;-happy hours to spend time with employees and know their areas of interest and concerns. It helps create a bond, recognizes their issues, and solves them.
We also help clients with other HR management tasks like implementing benefits and new HR strategies that motivate employees.
An Effective Skill-Based Recruitment Guide
We leverage the most credible, reliable job platforms, provide accurate job descriptions, and help track applications to virtually and physically recruit candidates. Considering the recent shift in skills-based hiring, we focus more on soft skills than education and experience. For instance, we prefer someone with substantial oral and writing skills for an administrative assistant job over someone with a bachelor’s degree if they demonstrate the capability to meet the job requirements over a qualified person who has to start it all from scratch.
Finding candidates is also done internally. One of our clients needed help finding highly qualified candidates for a vacancy that had been open for almost six months. We advised them to look among their current employees to see if someone on their team had the qualifications they were looking for and to consider offering training in areas where the employee lacked the skills. The client identified a fitting employee on their team and promoted them to the relevant position. We also created a plan to ensure the employee had the necessary resources to be successful in the new role. Subsequently, the client could save money by promoting the current employee, cutting new hire costs, and using the money saved for the new employee’s professional development plan.
Putting the Human Back in Human Resources
The human segment of human resources is often overlooked, although that is the most vital part of it. Our approach is to put the “human” back to human resources. We understand having a human approach in solving every issue listed above will lead the companies to success.
We offer customized training solutions in which we help develop a team culture centered on growth and inclusion
We achieve this by enabling conversations around diversity and helping clients provide equal opportunity to employees by understanding their challenges and tailoring HR strategies that support them.
We also pay attention to balancing an employee’s work and life. We tailor working days and hours in ways that do not hinder the balance. Employers are also urged to provide health and wellness benefits to employees, differentiating us from many of our peers.
Transparency is the Key
We focus on enhancing a company’s skilled workforce and boosting every employee’s professional growth. We provide options and opportunities above their current role or from a different domain. People can visualize themselves two years later and decide what works best for them.
Besides facilitating hassle-free HR management, we stress that employees know the opportunities for their career development, including the pay scale. That makes us a transparent HR service provider. We strive to continue doing this so our clients have the most efficient workforce and employees have a nurturing environment.
Change is inevitable and human resources is constantly changing across the globe and as the current workforce redefines what the workplace is and will become it is important that companies work with HR Media and Co. or other experts in the human resources field that can advise and support them and their employees as these changes take place.
